For the first time since joining the National Basketball Association, the Toronto Raptors punched their ticket to the Finals. The team was originally founded in 1995 as the NBA expanded north in Canada, and fans have been hungry for a Championship banner to call their own ever since.

After beating the Milwaukee Bucks in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals, the Raptors now have their chance to make history. Not only could they win in their first Finals appearance, but they could do it by taking down the best team in the NBA for five straight seasons: the Golden State Warriors.

Oddly enough, this match can be seen as a revenge series for Raptors star Kawhi Leonard, who last faced the Warriors in the postseason as a San Antonio Spur. Leonard spent that game bruising the champs, leading his team to a 26-point advantage.

Then he got hurt on a controversial play by Zaza Pachulia and was taken out of the game. Golden State stormed back to win and went on to take their second NBA crown in three seasons. The Warriors won it all again the next year, and now have a chance for four titles in five years.

It's up to Kawhi Leonard to stop the unstoppable force that is Stephen Curry. He just needs to find a way to become an immovable object.
