Paul George To Miss The NBA Preseason

The Los Angeles Clippers made sports headlines earlier this year when they signed basketball superstars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. However, the duo won't be joining each other on the court anytime soon. Paul George has announced he'll be out the rest of the preseason and most likely the entire month of October.

"I will be out of the preseason. As of now, I'll be out of October fully, but who knows? We'll see. In the November range is our target date," George said via ESPN.

George had surgeries on both of his shoulders this offseason. He had rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder in May and surgery to repair a partial tear of his left labrum in June.

The LA Clippers acquired Geroge in July knowing that he might miss the start of the 2019 season. The team also signed Leonard during the offseason. The Clippers open the regular season against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 22nd.
