NBA free agency is underway and it already feels like the Brooklyn Nets have won it all. Shortly before the cloud was lifted on what players would be going where, it was leaked that Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan would all be signing with the team. The news left Knicks' fans in a state of shock.

With the signings, the Nets instantly became title contenders and have created a new big three that has fans salivating at the possibilities. Of course, we won't get to the see the full potential of the new Nets lineup until the season after next, when Kevin Durant is fully healed from his Achilles tear.

All the new faces in Brooklyn left one familiar one out to dry; D'Angelo Russell. The young all-star wasn't sad for very long, though. The Golden State Warriors quickly traded for him, then signed him to a $117 million contract.

What does all this mean for the rest of the NBA? With plenty of free agents still available, they need to catch up. The biggest fish of all is still out there to be caught, but most reports indicate Kawhi Leonard will plant his flag with the Lakers. Or the Clippers. Or maybe he'll do the honorable thing and return to the Raptors.
