Kevin Durant Trashes Oklahoma City

Kevin Durant has some interesting things to say about his former organization, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The now Brooklyn Nets forward was unhappy with the way Thunder fans reacted to his departure to the Golden State Warriors in 2016.

Durant was originally very fond of the team but the way the fans treated him after he left was enough to make him change his mind.

"People making videos in front of my house and burning my jerseys and calling me all types of crazy names. People coming to my house and spray-painting on the for sale signs around my neighborhood," said Durant to The Wall Street Journal.

He said that seeing a video of his jersey being shot by guns was a final straw.

"I'll never be attached to that city again because of that. I eventually wanted to come back to that city and be part of that community and organization, but I don’t trust nobody there," says Durant.

He added that he hasn't spoken to anyone part of the Thunder organization since he left.
