In 2010, the New Girl actress was offered the performance of a lifetime. That year, she performed at AT&T Park during game three of the National League Championship Series.
She went to the pitcher’s mound during the seventh-inning stretch, performing “America the Beautiful” for the fans there to watch the game between the Giants and Philadelphia Phillies. Deschanel was then invited to sing the National Anthem at Comerica Park during the 2012 World Series, where the Giants came out victorious.
