NFL Helmets Redesigned And Created By AI
While NFL teams tend to change the shades of color, designs, and logos of their uniforms from time to time, it is safe to say no one on the design team has used AI to do so in the past.
So, get on the 50-yard line and get ready to kick-off with NFL helmets reimagined by AI.
New England Patriots
When it comes to the New England Patriots, their logo is pretty iconic -- the face or entire body of an American Revolutionary soldier.
This redesign took that concept and ran with it in a very abstract and funky way.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions' colors, silver and blue, are shown in the AI redesign of their helmet. That being said, the actual depiction of the lion isn't the best.
Even so, the subtle red accents throughout the design are pretty cool and give it a fresh look.
Kansas City Chiefs
Needless to say, the Kansas City Chiefs most likely won't be looking to AI for a helmet redesign.
Running away with colors, AI ignored the team's standard red and white and decided it was time for them to try out a dark blue with an Eagle-green facemask.
Miami Dolphins
Orange and teal dominate the Miami Dolphins uniforms, with some white thrown into the mix.
While AI got that much right about their redesign, there is one thing that doesn't really fit: the iconic dolphin looks more like a whale!
Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys fans might not like this redesign, as it goes against the lighter blues and silver they tend to see on Dallas' uniforms.
However, the darker blue and textured star can be a new age for The Boys if given the chance!
Washington Commanders
It looks like AI thought the Washington Commanders were the Baltimore Ravens if that plum-purple design says anything!
The gold and maroon colors on the stripe are a better representation of the team's signature colors, even if the purple helmet and blue facemask complement one another.
Philadelphia Eagles
This is definitely a bit different from the Eagles' typical dark green and black color scheme.
The thing is, Philadelphia fans are most likely going to associate this particular silver color scheme with the Cowboys, and no one needs to rile up the Birds' fans!
Buffalo Bills
Honestly, this redesign for the Buffalo Bills is not so different from the team's typical helmet!
A white helmet featuring an abstract red, white, and blue buffalo followed by the same colors going down the center of the helmet in a stripe is usually what fans can expect to see on the field.
Green Bay Packers
Fans of the Green Bay Packers can expect to see a dark green or yellow helmet on the players when they take to the field.
The dual yellow and green are a bit different, though, and definitely a bit busy-looking on the otherwise clean-looking design.
Las Vegas Raiders
The old-school football payer in the Las Vegas Raider logo is standard. However, this one looks even older and seems to be missing the signature eyepatch and swords behind its head.
The design isn't too different from the iconic one, though.
Denver Broncos
Orange and blue dominate the Denver Broncos uniforms and helmets. The bronco horse is even on the side!
The bronco, though, doesn't look nearly as abstract as this one (at all!).
Chicago Bears
This redesign for the Chicago Bears is pretty cool! Going with the orange and white of the team's uniforms, AI decided to throw their blue into the mix, too.
The little platter of blue underneath the C is a fresh and different look that the team should think about adopting.
San Francisco 49ers
The matte red of this helmet redesign is definitely a different look for the San Francisco 49ers.
As a team that tends to go a bit simpler with their designs, the change in color could be a good look.
Minnesota Vikings
Exchanging the matte purple for something a bit on the shinier side, this re-imagining of the Minnesota Vikings helmet is not too bad!
That being said, the actual Viking logo could use some work.
Seattle Seahawks
The redesign for the Seattle Seahawks helmet isn't too far off from the one they wear on the field.
The biggest difference is the slight color change of the teal and the lime green accent on the back.
New Orleans Saints
It is safe to say that the New Orleans Saints should definitely think about this redesign in the coming years!
With sleek black and metallic gold accents, including the chin strap, the Saints would have one of the most noticeable helmets out there!
Cleveland Browns
While the Cleveland Browns aren't necessarily known for their loud helmets or logo, seeing how they tend to stick to plain brown and orange with perhaps a stripe thrown into the mix, this helmet might get a few laughs.
AI decided to go with the team's typical orange helmet, including the white stripe down the center, while adding a brown helmet to the side.
New York Giants
Taking away the iconic NY on the helmet was a bold move, one that New York Giants fans might not get on board with if it was ever decided to revamp the helmet.
At least AI stuck with the red, white, and blue?
Houston Texans
While keeping the red, white, and blue color scheme of the Houston Texans in mind, AI decided to revamp the logo a little bit.
Pseudo abstract, fans will have to look a bit more in-depth to see the Texas flag bull's head they are accustomed to.
Arizona Cardinals
Mixing together their respective red and black helmets, this redesign is something the Arizona Cardinals should think about in the coming seasons.
Keeping the iconic cardinal logo on the side, this redesign has a black stripe going across the red, giving it a sleek new look.
Indianapolis Colts
Instead of sticking with the sole horseshoe known to the Indianapolis Colts, AI had something else in mind.
While keeping the horseshoe, this redesign has it placed on a saddle bag instead of by itself on the side of the helmet.
Carolina Panthers
Sadly, the redesign for the Carolina Panthers is kind of boring, solely because it looks so similar to the helmet the team already wears.
Blue, black, and a little white; the only major difference is the look of the panther. Even that isn't too far off!
Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals' helmet is orange with black tiger stripes. So, the AI redesign isn't all that different.
Keeping the stripes, AI made them a bit thicker while actually including less across the helmet.
Los Angeles Chargers
Mixing the dark and light blues with a yellow bolt of lightning, this redesign for the Los Angeles Chargers isn't horrible!
Instead of one lightning bolt, AI opted for two while including a strip of orange down the center. The latter part could probably be taken out, but the two shades of blue really make the yellow bolts pop.
Atlanta Falcons
Fans don't really see the Atlanta Falcons wearing a white helmet, making this redesign very interesting.
Keeping the signature falcon on the side, AI made the helmet white with only a little bit of black on the top and facemask.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It is hard not to laugh at this redesign for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers helmet.
Keeping the pirate skull, AI opted not to include the flag and instead makes it look as though the skull is sporting quite the hairstyle with the funky red background.
Los Angeles Rams
While this isn't the worst redesign, the Los Angeles Rams are better off sticking with their Rams horn helmet design.
AI made these horns too abstract to the point of looking nothing like a ram or a horn.
Tennessee Titans
Teal with no signature T to be found, the reimaging of the Tennessee Titans' helmet is nothing like the one fans have come to know and love.
While the teal color is pretty fresh, this design would look better with the flaming circle and T.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars had that strange stint of a two-toned helmet. It looks like AI took that into consideration while redesigning something a bit different.
Using a metallic gold base, this redesign has a black facemask and stripe down the center. The jaguar is pretty old-school looking, and only tiny accents of teal blue are thrown into the mix.
Baltimore Ravens
Purple is the name of the game with the Baltimore Ravens, and AI stuck to it!
While the raven definitely has more of an abstract feel to it, even with the signature B in it, the only other change is the purple facemask instead of gold or black.
